Another financial independence blog?

Welcome New Readers!

I believe everyone should be taught how to be financially literate. I believe too many people are trading their life for dollars and my hope is that if I can teach someone the merits of investing and wealth building, with a dash of sacrifice and planning, this whole thing will be worth it. My hope is to show you that there are ways to get ahead no matter what your financial blueprint is, what job you have, or what country you come from. Everyone can take steps to become financial independent, and I hope this blog will help you understand how.

Time and Discipline

Anything is possible with enough time and discipline. Investing is no different. I think when most folks hear about financial planning, investing, or stock trading, they think of the pictures you see on Wall Street on the trading floor with spastic men shaking papers and yelling “SELL SELL SELL” or any other manner of things in all caps. Or perhaps you imagine a lady or fella in a fine suit looking at the market analysis and “Hmm”‘ing while nodding in some unspoken agreement with a colleage. Or hell maybe it’s man in a tux and a monocle.

The truth is, the average investor is just like you, only, they know a little more. And to be honest you don’t have to know too much to get started in investing. My hope is that if you have been either too intimidated by investing in general, or petrified by whatever preconceived notions you may have had about investing, that this blog will help dispel those concerns. All you need is a bit of discipline, and time does the rest. My aim is to show you how.
